Shannon TriplettOne of the Professional Team Members Who Works for You at Cuddigan Law

“If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything!” That timeless maxim first attributed to Alexander Hamilton and popularized by cultural leaders like Malcom X has been a moral compass for Cuddigan Law Legal Intake Specialist Shannon Triplett. She believes it is a great reminder for her to occasionally step back, evaluate her beliefs on a subject, and define exactly what are the core principles which anchor her life.

Among these principles is helping others. “I love being able to give others hope and making a difference in their lives,” she will tell you. This is her passion and she has had countless opportunities in her life to help others. “I have over 20 years of experience working in homeless services, outreach, mental and behavioral health, case management, and providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities,” she explains. This background serves her well now in her job at Cuddigan Law where she is responsible for working with potential clients to collect information to see if they are eligible for SSDI and SSI benefits before presenting their cases for attorney review.   “This helps determine if we can assist them in the application and appeal processes,” Ms. Triplett explains.

Enthusiastic about helping and healing others and making a difference in her community, this lifelong Omaha resident supports several different non-profit community organizations including Charles Drew Health Center and Heartland Family Services. When not helping these organizations “in my free time, I love art, reading, writing, singing, listening to music, being in nature, and playing basketball.”   (As an aside, she also mentions that she is big fan of boxing and UFC. too.)   But most of all—growing up in a “huge loving family”—Shannon carries on the tradition as she enjoys spending time with her children
