Within just a few minutes of meeting Mickayla Doeden you will learn this about her: She is a creative and high-energy individual. Although her job title is Receptionist (which she does very well), her work for the firm extends far beyond the front desk. She also assists the case managers and attorneys with all the needed day-to-day tasks of organizing and sending medical records to Social Security; scanning, photocopying, and filing documents; and keeping client information up-to-date.
Passionate about caring for people, she has this to say about her work: “I like making clients feel like they have an ally. It is rewarding to be able to give them answers, a clear sense of direction, and peace of mind.”
Creativity and high energy also characterize Mickayla’s life away from work. In her free time she is into photography; creating art through drawings, paintings, and graphic design; cooking; and traveling. It will come as no surprise, then, that she subscribes to this life philosophy from author Mark Twain: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.”
Ms. Doeden also believes in giving back. She supports Nebraska Wildlife Rehab (she is also passionate about caring for animals and pets), the Joslyn Art Museum Foundation, and the Surfrider Foundation, a national organization that works to protect and preserve the world's oceans, waves and beaches.
Born in Searcy, Arkansas, Mickayla moved around the eastern part of the United States during the early part of her life, before moving to Omaha. She graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in fine art.
