A spotlight on one of the professional team members who works for you at Cuddigan Law.
One of the principal reasons that David Vrudney is successful as a VA Disability Case Manager for Cuddigan Law is that David understands what it means to serve, because he has lived it. He retired from the Air Force after 24 years in uniform. “For my first 4 years I worked on the
flightline then spent my last 20 years as a meteorologist,” he explains. “I was deployed multiple times in support of Operations Desert Fox, Enduring Freedom, Northern & Southern Watch, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.”
“The VA is a huge bureaucracy and process for winning VA disability benefits can be frustrating and overwhelming when trying to do it on your own,” he notes. “I find it rewarding to be able to help other Veterans get the benefits they have earned.” But winning those benefits takes diligence and hard work. It is then appropriate that one of the quotes David lives by comes from John F. Kennedy: "We must use time as a tool, not as a couch".
When he’s not working, David loves to spend time with his family — his wife Nicole, daughters Quinn and Addison, Bowie their dog, and Seamus their cat. He is avid fan of hockey, baseball, football, and English Premier League soccer. His favorite sports teams are the Buffalo Sabres, Edmonton Oilers, San Francisco 49ers, and Tottenham Hotspurs. And because he grew up in Newton Falls, Ohio, he is a dyed-in-the wool Ohio State Buckeyes fan. This may explain his other favorite quote that comes from former OSU Coach Woody Hayes: “There is nothing that cleanses the soul like getting the hell kicked out of you."
