Jimena AlvaradoReaching out to a law firm can sometimes feel a little bit overwhelming. Cuddigan Law Receptionist Jimena Alvarado knows exactly how that can feel. “I like being the someone who can make that first interaction a little bit easier and more comfortable,” she notes. “I’m often one of the first people clients interact with, so I help create a welcoming experience from the moment they contact or visit the firm. This is just one aspect of my work here. I also assist with getting in touch with clients, scheduling appointments, helping to organize the workflow to maximize our client service, and supporting the firm with day-to-day administrative needs.”

Ms. Alvarado adds, “I enjoy being able to make people feel heard and welcomed. I have previous work experience that helped me develop strong communication, organization, customer service, and interpersonal skills, which I now bring into my role at the firm.” Her helping and supportive approach carries over into her personal life, as well.  “I’m passionate about helping others, continuing to grow both personally and professionally, and being someone who people can feel comfortable coming to for help. I support causes that focus on helping people, supporting families, and strengthening local communities.” She sums up her outlook on life this way: “Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people. I like this quote,” she explains,” because I believe kindness and the way we treat others can make a lasting difference.”

A resident of Papillion, Nebraska, when she is not working, Jimena loves to spend time with her family, friends and pets. “I also spend some of my free time crocheting. It is one of my favorite ways to relax and be creative.”
