May is Mental Health Awarenss Month

Posted on May 18, 2013

The month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month. According the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 1 in 4 Americans are affected by mental illness. Mental illness comes in many different forms such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD to name a few. Each condition affects different people in different ways. It is important that we take this month to support different organizations such as NAMI that support access to mental health care, treatment, research, and mental health awareness. Unfortunately, some may be unable to work because of their mental illness. If you are or someone you know is unable to work because of your mental illness, please contact Cuddigan Law at (402) 933-5405  for a free evaluation of your claim.
