Within ten seconds of meeting Cierra Mumme, you know she is perfectly suited for her job as the receptionist at Cuddigan Law. With a warm and friendly personality she is usually the first person you talk with at our firm and clearly she is a people person. “I am the first contact when clients call or come into the office,” Cierra explains. “I direct each call to the proper case manager or if need be to the intake specialist. I prepare the initial paperwork for each new client for the attorneys so they are fully aware of the client’s case. I make sure all clients feel as comfortable as they can when they are here to ensure they are getting the best help”.
In addition to greeting clients and answering incoming calls, Cierra provides critical administrative support for the firm--scanning all the paperwork that comes into the firm, and taking on special projects for Cuddigan Law. Cierra loves her job. “I enjoy seeing the smile on the clients’ faces when they know they are in good hands,” she says. “The results the attorney’s strive for every day to help a person in need is what makes my job worth coming in for every day.”
When not at the front desk at the firm, Cierra enjoys spending time with family and friends. “Chasing my young children around outside or going on new adventures with them keeps me on my toes,” she says with a laugh. “My true passion is being the best mom I can be to my children. I strive every day to teach them something new that can show them a positive outlook on their future and the life ahead of them.”
Because she wants to be a good role model for her children, Cierra recently started volunteering for the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and you can bet that when she volunteers she does it with compassion and a smile on her face.
